Discovering Cloncurry's Mineral Wealth:

Duck Creek Copper Project

Mineralisation in Ore Bodies of Duck Creek Tenements.

The Duck Creek tenements have numerous, east-west striking copper orebodies, which are predominantly quartz-malachite style and hosted by crush/shear zones. Early historical copper mines in the area produced high-grade ore (~20% Cu+/-) due to selective mining for logistical reasons.

Mineralisation in Ore Bodies of the Highway Project.

The Highway mineralisation occurs in a variety of intrusive phases from quartz veins and breccias to carbothermal veining. The host lithology is mainly andesitic tuffs and metasediments from the Timbaroo sequence. A JORC 2012 compliant resource has been determined utilizing only the first year of drilling, 2020.
