Research Focus

Transition Resources conducts extensive research programs centered around a proprietary new Mineral System Model (MSM) designed to offer fresh perspectives on mineralization within the Cloncurry region of the Northwest Mineral Province (NWMP), Queensland.

Scientific Approach

We employ a comprehensive approach, incorporating petrology, geochemistry, geochronology, geophysics, and geo-dynamics to deduce the characteristics of mineral systems within our Cloncurry tenements.

Practical Application

Our field applications encompass the re-evaluation of historical prospects, uncovering potentially misunderstood or previously overlooked depositional models, and the discovery of new mineral deposits through deposit-specific geochemical vectoring, made feasible by TR’s innovative exploration methodologies.

This work is built upon the extensive prior research conducted on the NWMP by Transition’s Director of Research and Development, Emeritus Professor Ken Collerson.
